Shoutout to the Great Beyond for Bessie Smith, born on this day in 1894... for country & rockabilly singer Bob Luman, who would have been 77 today... for arranger & film score composer Michael Kamen, who would have been 66... for Joey Ramone, who died on this date in 2001... and for former Game Theory frontman Scott Miller, who left us a year ago today.
